We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or engage in fraudulent activity.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use PyCodeIt only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content from the platform without our prior written permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion or feature of the Platform, or any other systems or networks connected to the Platform.
- Post, transmit, or share any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

5. Intellectual Property
The PyCodeIt platform, including its original content, features, design, logos, and functionality, is owned by PyCodeIt and protected by intellectual property laws including copyright, trademark, and trade secret law.
Platform content: All blog articles, tutorials, problem sets, explanations, and educational content created by PyCodeIt are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our express written permission.
AI-generated content: Problems generated by third-party AI models (e.g., Groq-powered Llama models) using your API key are generated on-demand and subject to the respective model provider's terms. PyCodeIt claims no ownership over individual AI-generated problem outputs. You receive a personal license to use those outputs for your own private study and interview preparation.
User-submitted content: By posting content in the community forum, you grant PyCodeIt a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that content as part of the platform service. You retain ownership of your original content.
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Certain features of PyCodeIt use large language models (LLMs) via third-party APIs to generate practice problems, hints, and explanations. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. We do not guarantee the correctness, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated content.
You are responsible for critically evaluating AI-generated content. In particular, do not rely on AI-generated explanations as definitive answers in professional or academic contexts. Always cross-reference with official language documentation and authoritative sources.
7. Third-Party API Keys and Services
To use AI-powered features, you must supply your own API key from a third-party provider (currently Groq). By entering an API key into PyCodeIt:
- You confirm that your use of the API key complies with the third-party provider's terms of service.
- You understand that the key is stored only in your browser's local storage and is not transmitted to our servers.
- You accept full responsibility for any costs, rate limits, or policy violations arising from your API key usage.
8. Advertising
PyCodeIt displays advertisements via Google AdSense to fund the free service. Advertisements are subject to our Privacy Policy and your cookie consent preferences. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements and do not endorse any advertised products or services. Ad interactions are governed by the advertiser's own terms and policies.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PYCODEIT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that: (a) the Platform will function uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times; (b) the content is accurate, complete, or current; (c) AI-generated problems or explanations are correct; or (d) the Platform is free of viruses or other harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PYCODEIT, ITS CREATOR (AMEER ABDULLAH), OR ANY ASSOCIATED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF:
- Your use or inability to use the Platform;
- Any conduct or content of third parties on the Platform;
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data;
- Reliance on AI-generated answers, hints, or explanations;
- Any other matter relating to the Platform.
11. DMCA Notice and Takedown
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on PyCodeIt infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA takedown notice to richiethedigitalrich10@gmail.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice" and include:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- The specific URL of the allegedly infringing content on PyCodeIt;
- Your contact information (name, email, address);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized;
- A statement of accuracy and your digital or physical signature.
We will respond to valid DMCA notices within a reasonable time and will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content pending resolution.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to PyCodeIt at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the Platform, third parties, or our business interests.
You may discontinue using the service at any time. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, please contact us via our Contact page. We will process account deletion requests within 30 days.
13. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at richiethedigitalrich10@gmail.com. We will attempt to resolve any disputes within 30 days of receiving written notice.
If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of an established arbitration body in the jurisdiction applicable to the user, to the extent permitted by local law. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the platform creator (Ameer Abdullah) is domiciled, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Users located in the European Economic Area retain the right to pursue claims before their local consumer protection authorities under applicable EU law. Users in the United States retain applicable federal and state consumer protection rights.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. For material changes, we will attempt to notify registered users via email.
